Storytelling Trip

In September 2023, seven of us from Rweisat for Wood Art went on an 18-day storytelling trip to Germany. We visited several places in Germany to share their stories of life under occupation through storytelling. We visited five different cities and areas in Germany and organized nine storytelling events in this time. More than 300 people came to attend the storytelling events in Berlin, Hamburg, Stade, Wendland and Bromskirchen. We were invited to the Palestinian Mission in Berlin and one of our events was hosted by the Palestinian Women’s Union. During the trip, we were interviewed in Stade by the weekend magazine about their work and the situation in our village.
