Photography Training
As part of our quest towards making our voices heard, we, together with our German partner organization, conducted workshops focusing on street photography. There, we applied the theoretical knowledge that we had gained in earlier, more theory-focused workshops.
In the process, we captured beautiful images of daily and still life, while chatting with people and sharing with them stories and insights from our garden project in Al-Walajah.
Returning to Al-Walajah, we continued by photographing the day-to-day life in our village and how it is affected by the continued construction of the Separation Wall, which now almost completely encircles the village.
This is another contribution to Sumud - a visual archive of hope and everyday life, with its joys, challenges and limitations. Furthermore, it is also a contribution to the documentation of the changes in the geographical, political and social landscape caused by the annexation of Palestinian land, which is an inherent part of the Israeli occupation.
Our archive of these pictures is a huge treasure, some of which we are delighted to share here with you.
